Tare [T]
Value of loaded mass set by tare measuring devices.
Dryling temperature
Temperature of drying of a substance set by operator of a moisture analyzer.
it is set and controlled by automatic regulation devices.
Working temperature
Range of surrounding temperature in which the indication of weighing instruments must be included in maximal permissible errors thresholds.
Thermogravimetry
Process of determining mass decrement which takes place during heating the substance. The sample is measured before and after drying heating, and than the difference between these two values is calculated.
This term derives from three-part Latin name: thermo - gravi - metry.
Sampling time
Time interval, set by the user of the moisture analyzer, between following measurement of mass of dried substance in moisture analyzer. Software of moisture analyzer checks in set time intervals equal to sampling time if there are any mass (moisture) decrement of the sample.
Warming time
Time between the plugging of weighing instrument to mains and moment when his weighing instrument is ready to meet its metrological measuring requirements.
Type Approval
An element of legal metrology control performer by a country on basis of regulation: Law on measurements. A decision on type approval introduction into the market is issued by Polish Main Measuring Office (most often after performing full tests of the equipment). After 1st of May 2004 such decisions for non-automatic weighing instruments are no longer issued.
